Are you ready for back to school? The local art teachers are prepping for the year with freshly sharpened fabric scissors! We’ve sharpened around 300 scissors in the last two weeks. Now on it’s on to testing these ones and sending them home!

These take the award for worst saw blades so far! We cleaned them up with a few different chemicals, then sharpened the carbide teeth so those little monster has its bite back.

This weekend you can catch us at The Burlington County Farmers Market! It’s been a bit since we’ve been there and we are excited to see @burlcofarmersmarket and all the customers! Come find us near the entrance to the market and don’t forget to bring your tools and knives that need sharpening!

For the next two weekends we will be setup at @collsmkt and @hhfarmersmarket. The Collingswood Farmers market is from 8-12pm and the Haddon Heights Farmers Market is from 9:30-1pm. We offer sharpening on the spot for most items and we sell our wood products at both markets. We just finished up around 15 new cutting boards for this weekend. Come by and check them out!

I’ve apparently been beating my body up too much these last few months and I need a rest per the doctors orders. So this weekend I’ll be staying home thinking about all the great things I want to make. Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone! We will see some of you at the Haddon Heights Parade on Monday!

We are officially starting our Farmer’s Market Season this Sunday at the Haddon Heights Farmer’s Market. This will be our sixth year @hhfarmersmarket and we are so excited to be back! We are unveiling our new look but with the same service and products that have allowed us to grow into a full time business. This time of year is always fun in the shop as we make props for several different productions! The Seussical was amazing and the way the volunteers brought life to the props was amazing to witness! The Vanemans finished strong with our last elementary production as Yurtle the Judicial Turtle. On to the Middle School Set!

You’ll be able to catch us almost every weekend in spring and summer at some of your favorite Farmers Markets in South Jersey! We have our Sundays filled with @hhfarmersmarket and we will be alternating our Saturdays once again with @collsmkt and @burlcofarmersmarket Each of these markets we will also be sharpening for our customers. So come check us out!

Finished up our local Hardware stores this morning. These small businesses are a step back in time and I enjoy every minute while I’m there. Each owner and their employees are knowledgeable and truly get to know each one of their customers. We worked on an order of saw blades this afternoon. After sharpening them we clean them with CMT cleaner made specifically for wood working tools.

Taking care of some orders tonight that were dropped off today. We managed to get this axe super sharp for our customer. Our drop off box is available everyday for your convenience.

Over the last half of the year we quietly launched our Mobile Sharpenjng Service with the purchase of our work van. The van allowed us to delve head first into our sharpening business full-time and it’s been a blast. We’ve been fortunate to make the right moves at the right time and we can now service many industries. So if you are a Barber, Hair Stylist, Dog Groomer, Chef, Restaurant Owner, Seamstress, Tailor, Leather worker, Farmer, Crafter or if you just like pointy sharp things we can help you out!
